Transceiver is a point-to-point signal extender for USB 2.0, LAN and Analogue Audio over CAT6/7 cables. Ideal for extending USB peripherals from the table in a conference room to wider video conferencing systems such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business.
The solution is comprised of two PU-USB-AL units connected via CAT6/7 which may be extended up to 100m (330 feet). Bi-directional PoC (power over cable) is supported enabling either side of the system to provide power, perfect for managing power requirements within an installation.
Typically a system can support one USB host and up to 6 USB devices (3 on the transmitter side, and 3 on the receiver side). The USB host is automatically located by the device, alternatively, this can be selected via the front panel buttons.
